Walton Court, Southcourt and Hawkslade
Since the start of November, a small team have been visiting groups, schools, shops and the GP surgery in a bid to speak to as many local residents as possible.
Focused on the ‘Hawks & Courts’ area of Aylesbury, we wanted to hear what people liked about living in this community, as well as where they felt improvements could be made. This was part of a People’s Health Trust initiative.
Thank you if you took part.
We’ve now spoken with over 430 residents and are keen to provide feedback on the outcomes.
- What are the real assets of the community and how can these be protected?
- What would improve the community?
Community Feedback sessions
If you are a resident of the ‘Hawks & Courts’ community, or your organisation has an interest in the opinion of local people, we invite you to join us at one of two feedback sessions in February:
WEDNESDAY 6 FEBRUARY at 1.00pm
HEALTHY LIVING CENTRE
SATURDAY 9 FEBRUARY at 10.30am
WALTON COURT COMMUNITY CENTRE
We look forward to meeting you there.
As individuals, it is difficult to tackle issues, but collectively we can make a difference.
As part of the Local Conversations project, we are looking for willing residents to join a youth panel or a community panel to share ideas, decide on priorities and help encourage friends and neighbours to get involved in positive changes. This role will involve attending a monthly meeting and offering support with making ideas happen.
If you would be keen to find out more, please speak to the Local Conversations team at one of the events above, or email Dawn: firstname.lastname@example.org
